400 days in Hawaii....
Let me tell you something about Hawaii for those who may not know. Hawaii is full of COCKROACHES. THEY ARE DISGUSTING. Do you know what else is creepy and disgusto about them? They can FLY. I didn't know that until one of them flew right at me and got caught in my hair. I was screaming at the top of my lungs while yelling at my friend to help me get him out of my hair. I then yelled for the next half hour "I HATE COCKROACHES!"
I make my roommates kill them for me because they freak me out so much. The other night, I was getting ready for bed and I had opened up my dresser drawer to pull out some clothes to change into when I saw one. A BIG one. In my CLOTHES DRAWER. I was mortified. I grabbed my clothes and went to change. When I came back out, he had come out of the drawer and was now sitting on my book. I was the only one at home and it was right then and there that I realized I had to kill him myself. I grabbed one of my shoes from the closet and smacked down on him. That's right everyone. I KILLED my FIRST cockroach EVER this week. After 400 days, I finally killed one by myself. It's kind of a big deal.
Friday night I was over at my friends house watching a movie. Halfway through, I jumped because I could I feel something moving in my sleeve. My friend turned to me and was like "What?" I was like, "There is something in my SLEEVE!" I started shaking my sleeve, when it fell to the ground. We bent over to look and I saw a GIANT cockroach on the ground. I was strangely calm, while my friend grabbed a shoe and killed him. The rest of the movie I was seriously itching and scratching my body because I was so paranoid. I was still reliving him crawling on my shoulder. The thing that freaks me out the most is that I don't know how he got in my sleeve without me feeling him! It was a tighter shirt and I don't know how long he was there. I seriously feel sick to my stomach every time I think about it.
Anyway, this week was about killing my first cockroach and then having one stuck in my sleeve for who knows how long. I shuddered the whole time I wrote this btw.
