fourth of july weekend.

I took my second vacation of the summer to St. George, Utah for the Fourth of July weekend. It was so fun just being with the fam and having a bbq in 113 degree weather. Seriously, it was so hot. I haven't felt heat like that in a long time. I was so glad we had a pool to cool down in. It was a chill weekend and I finished re reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in prep for part two the movie coming out this Friday. The first time I read the book, I finished it in like 2 days, four years ago, and I had forgotten a lot that happened going into Part 1. It was like I didn't know what to expect. I didn't want the same to happen for Part 2.

Being home, I've ran into a lot of people who I had grown up with since Kindergarten.

Yes, I have lived in the same town all the way from Kindergarten to High School, until I moved out to go to school.

Anyway, it's really funny to see the boys who I use to have crushes on and realize that I'm no longer attracted to them and other boys who I never ever considered, looking better every time I run into them. I always find myself asking "What was I thinking?!" Isn't it funny how perspective changes?
