It has been raining soooo much lately! Monday was President's Day, and it started out super sunny and warm. My friends and I spent the day at Waimea laying out and I actually got burned a little bit (which is weird, I have enough of a tan that I never burn.) We drove down in a truck, and me and 4 others were sitting in the back on the way home. While we were driving home, someone was like, "here comes the rain." I didn't think it was going to be bad. Wrong. It started DOWN POURING on us. My friend from inside took pic #2 of me. Don't I look miserable? ha. But it was probably one of the most memorable experiences coming back from Waimea that I have. It was so crazy.
Friday I went and helped out by going around to 5 different classes at the elementary school teaching kindergarten kids how to brush their teeth. They were soooo cute! And super smart. I forget how smart kids are when I'm never around them. Anyway, it was fun being able to help and see the reactions that the kids had to us.
Yesterday it was raining all day, so I went shopping. I got a new jacket and boots to wear in New York, where I will be flying to in exactly 18 days. I am soooo excited!
