So lately, it's been raining. A lot. And when I say a lot, I'm actually talking about down pouring, which leads to flooding, which leads to classes being cancelled on Friday (Hawaiian snow day), which leads to my internet being out all weekend (thank goodness for smart phones), which then leads to seasonal depression. Basically my week in a nutshell.
BUT today I actually had the sun shine down on me and I saw blue skies. And just like that, I was in paradise again. I loooove you sun. Please grace me with your presence again tomorrow. Although it has been nice to have an excuse to be able to break in the new boots I bought a few weeks ago to wear in New York. A guy said, "Nice kicks." Then pumped up kicks popped in my head and I became paranoid that the song was going to come true. But then I got over it and took it as a compliment.
Plus side to the flooding, I ate really good food this week because everyone was so bored and apparently that's what you do when it's raining in Hawaii... eat. So I went to a shrimp truck and the malasada truck. Success.
Ohh heyy I leave for New York Thursday night and come back on Tuesday. Seriously looking forward to a week of NYC loving. I have been watching New York movies and shows to get in the mood. Then I only have 3 1/2 ish weeks left of the semester. Dude I can see the light at the end of the semester.
Also, does anyone have the app Draw Something? I'm seriously addicted and draw the best doodles you have ever seen. For real.
