NEW YORK CITY.

So this week I was in NYC and it was so much fun. I so needed a break from school and this was the perfect time to go.
We flew the red eye to San Fran, and from there JFK. I must say, I was ready to get off the plane the last 2 hours before we landed (10 hours of flying time people.) We landed that afternoon and honestly the rest is a blur. I slept very little and the 6 hour time difference didn't make it easier. But it was so worth it!
That night we hit up Times Square. Walking around Times Square is so surreal and unlike anywhere in the world. I love it. We also went to Rockefeller Center and Radio City Hall. After that we went to the Empire State Building, which was one of my favorite moments of the trip. Looking around the whole city was so pretty! I felt just like I was in a movie.
The next day was St. Patrick's Day, and we went to the St. Patty's Day parade. Everyone was wearing green and drunk. It was a party ha. After that we walked the Brooklyn Bridge. Definitely would recommend that as well. We went to Ground Zero after that and that was an awesome experience. It was crazy seeing where the World Trade Centers were and there is a survivor tree that is unreal to know it survived Sept 11. From there we did the Staten Island Ferry and saw the Statue of Liberty. That night, we walked around Times Square again and later went to Serendipity for frozen hot chocolate.
Sunday, we went to see the Broadway Musical, How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Nick Jonas is in it, and Joe Jonas was in the audience with us watching it. That's right, I was in the same room with 2 Jonas Brothers ha. I thought it was going to be really cheesy, but I actually really enjoyed it and Nick was really good in it.
Monday was our last full day in NYC. We went to Central Park and rented boats to row in the lake. It was so much fun! We basically just stayed and watched the sunset, and walked around the city the rest of the night. We also went to a karaoke bar, which was an absolute blast.
I wasn't in NYC for too long, but I feel like I got a lot done. I ate a lot of pizza, pretzels, and nuts, walked around until my feet hurt, had little to no sleep, took lots of pictures and video, and got hit on by 3 east coast boys. New York, can't wait to see you again.
