Day 650: Shopping Spree.

Friday was a good day. I went shopping and bought so. much. stuff. I loved every minute of it. However, there was drama halfway through my trip revolving around this bag.
I went into PacSun earlier that day and found the cutest dress. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but when I found out it was the last one, I had to have it. So I bought the dress, with a necklace and headband and was on my way to buy some new shoes to go with it.
I eventually found the perfect shoes to go with my outfit, and went up to the register to buy them. I put down my shopping bag to pay for the shoes, and when it was time for me to go, the bag was gone. I couldn't believe it. I told the guy helping me, "Someone just took my bag!" We looked around the store, he checked in the back to see if an employee had taken it back there, but there was no sign of the bag. I left my number with him to call me if it ever showed up. I felt defeated and left the store.
I called my mom so upset that someone had taken my bag. I told her I officially trust no one anymore and was on my way to find another dress to go with my shoes. While I was still on the phone with her, I had a feeling to go back to the store where I had bought my shoes. I was close to another store I wanted to shop at, and decided to go in there instead. However, while I was in there, I remember feeling to go back to the shoe store and so I made my way back over there. I circled around again, but no sign of my bag. I started to walk away, but I felt that I should circle again. So I walked around, probably looking like a crazy person, ready to walk out the door once again, when I saw my bag on the counter by the register. I ran up to it, this time a woman behind the register instead of the man, and I told her, "That's my bag! I left it behind." She was like, "Okay" and just handed it back to me, no questions asked. I was smiling so big when I left the store, I was so so so happy to have my dress back.
I'm not sure what happened with my missing bag. I know it was gone when I paid for my shoes. Maybe someone thought it was theirs, maybe an employee had it and the man didn't see it, or maybe someone brought it back, either way, I am so happy I got it back. And I learned a lesson that day. Always listen to feelings/promptings. You never know where they will lead you. No matter how big or small my problems may be, I know that there is someone looking out for me.
