Arab night was so much fun. We all got dressed up and learned more about the Call to Prayer. A father and son who actually do the Call to Prayer came to recite it, along with parts of the Qur’an. They have been doing Call to Prayer for years and it has been in their family for 700 years. It’s amazing the dedication and ability to know the Qur’an so well. Their whole lives are dedicated to it.
We had an Arab dinner, which consisted of a lot of meat and things I have never had before, but it was fun to try something new. After dinner, we went into the gym to learn how to dance, which was a ton of fun. We took so many pictures and laughed so hard at our attempts at dancing. Super fun night.
